Beta Believe It!

Through four beta readers, this story is really coming together. The feedback has been wonderful. Probably one of the biggest problems with being an author is that I have so many details of the world I’m creating in my head. But not all of them need to be in the story. This results in a story that makes sense to me but not to others.

Two of my beta readers had never read Kyle By Fire so jumping right into Will From Ashes offered some great insights to things I took for granted as being understood. The changes that have resulted from these beta reads have really strengthened the story and given ME further insight into some of the characters. A really great experience.

So here is my plug for having beta readers! I should have had a few more on Kyle By Fire. I’m getting excited about finally publishing Will From Ashes as it has been two years now since I published book 1. Not having an editor to set deadlines is both freeing and demotivating.

Considering that less than a year ago, I was going to give up on the whole author thing, I see this as a major accomplishment. Keep your eyes open for the official release dates!

This is the Novel Mage saying, *POOF*
