Writing Like Junk Food on Veggies

National Novel Writing Month has come again! And per usual, I’m behind with a desperate hope of catching up and little confidence of meeting the 50,000 word mark. Hurray!

The good news is that book two has 5400 more words than it did a few days ago. Considering it took me almost a year to write 21,000 words in it, adding 25% in a few days is miraculous. 🙂 But this just brings into perspective the real dedication it takes to be an author. People want more books. Successful authors always say, “Have a lot of books,” I have one. Number two is getting there-ish. I need MORE?? *sigh* I have a bunch of ideas in my “new stuff” folder. Someday.

Thankfully, Halloween has come and gone and I still have a candy stash that will hopefully get me through NaNoWriMo and into the Christmas season. If this post seems random, well, the sugar must have finally hit my system.

This is the Novel Mage saying, *POOF*
