I’ve been framed!

Ok, so I actually did the framing.  In my basement.  Of the walls.  Which is why I have not been writing here or anywhere else.  Yes, I should post more.  You know that you all want more spam of new posts in your in-boxes. 🙂  My book has been doing what I expected, sold a dozen or more to friends and family and then folded into the background of new author-dom.  It happens.  I will be running a Mother’s Day special in April and May for all of those book loving mothers out there.  I’ll post the coupon code here when it starts so keep your eyes open and don’t auto-delete my new post emails around that time. 🙂

I’m hoping to have the second edition up for that promotion as well.  The typical typos, a little more/better description here and there.  I’ve decided to leave the story as it is.  One vocal soul wanted more.  He wanted me to change how the story unfolds near the end.  I seriously considered it.  Like I spent hours thinking about the story and trying to come up with ways I could do what he wanted me to.  I found one way that could be true to the story and the characters but it would require more re-writing and editing.  And some of the details and ramifications are still fuzzy.  So I’m taking notes and perhaps if a publisher comes knocking, it will be there. But in the end, he is not a publisher offering me thousands of dollars and a vast distribution network as long as I change it.  So for my awesome fans who have already purchased my book, fear not.  For those wanting to purchase it, please do.

This the Novel Mage saying, *POOF*
