Where, oh where, should my story go?

Book 1 is done.  The story worked.  Great reviews so far.  But I always planned a book 2.  And a book 3.  The problem I have encountered is that I don’t actually know how the story ends.  Crazy, I know.  Lots of writers know exactly how they want the story to end but getting their characters there is the challenge.  I knew how book 1 would end.  I wrote the end almost a year before I finished the book.  Book 2 has not been so easy.

I do have an outline.  I find those are very helpful.  I had one for Kyle By Fire too which actually ended up changing some as the story went along and the world developed.  But book 2 has not been so straight forward.  Maybe….hmm, ideas are flowing now so I think I might have to stop here.  Talk about the oddest post I may have ever written but this may be the start of something awesome!

I still don’t know how it will end but the spark of how it can continue is burning.

This is the Novel Mage saying, *POOF*
